Jamie is the founder and creative director of Promote Creative, where she helps brands create thoughtful visual identities, packaging, and branded merch that stands out in the real world. With more than 13 years of experience in the branded merchandise industry, a BFA from the University of Wyoming and an MFA in Sculpture from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, she brings a unique blend of fine art thinking and production expertise to every project. Based in Northern Colorado, Jamie believes great merch should be a true extension of a brand—not just a logo on a product. When she's not designing, you'll likely find her crafting, exploring creative side projects, spending time with friends and family, or feeding her slightly unhealthy obsession with all things miniature.
Class Summary- Understanding Vector Artwork
Vector artwork is part of the foundation of creating branded merch, yet it remains one of the most misunderstood concepts in our industry. In this class, you'll learn what vector artwork actually is, why it matters, and how to recognize it. The goal of this class is to give you the confidence to avoid common artwork mistakes and work more effectively with designers, suppliers, and clients.
Join RMRPPA at Raven Printing on August 20 for a behind-the-scenes, hands-on look at how print and branded merchandise come to life!
The afternoon will begin with lunch and an educational presentation based on the topic attendees are most interested in learning about. From there, guests will take part in an interactive “Build-a-Bag” tour through Raven’s production facility. At each stop, attendees will learn about a different production process, ask questions, and create or collect a piece of branded merchandise to add to their bag.
Experiences will include hooping and embroidering a hat, pressing an RMR/RMRYP T-shirt, watching custom stickers being produced, exploring digital printing and finishing equipment, and learning more about Raven’s in-house capabilities.
Attendees will leave with new industry knowledge, firsthand production experience, and a bag filled with branded merchandise created throughout the tour.

There is plenty of parking that runs $10 per vehicle and is not covered by registration. We highly encourage ya'll to carpool!
New this year - we are not requiring you to be a member to join us! There will be a fee for a non-member company to attend. If more than one person from a single company want to come, let us know and we will make sure that everyone is under the registration. This event is free for current members.
